    About the Presentation:

Dr. Mairani will discuss why the performance of any organization is the sole responsibility of the senior most leadership of the organization. These leaders are accountable for ensuring that systematic approaches are in place and effective that result in the products and services they provide to their users meet or exceed their expectations and requirements. Financial measurements alone fail to provide adequate guidance for long-term strategic development and competitive strategies. It is necessary for organizations to implement and sustain effective performance measurement systems that “enables informed decisions to be made and actions to be taken, because it quantifies the efficiency and effectiveness of past actions through acquisition, collection, sorting, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of appropriate data” For this reason senior leadership require measurement systems that provide both financial and non-financial performance indicators.
